A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to do my first official winter maternity photoshoot! I’ve taken some photography classes in college, did multiple fun photoshoots with my friend Sam, and would rather be behind the camera than in front. Photography is definitely something you’ll be seeing more, especially once little Anthony is born!

With my sister being 35 weeks pregnant, we definitely wanted to capture some memories. This maternity photoshoot in the middle of winter was the perfect opportunity. So, one sunny, yet freezing cold Saturday afternoon, Jesslyn, Joey, and I all hopped into the SUV and headed to Hermitage Park. We got a couple of shots that I think turned out great!

A young woman in focus with a wintery scene blurred in the background. She is wearing a beige leaopard scarf, a black heather jacket that is unzipped, showing off an 8-month pregnant belly. She has long brown hair, beautiful hazel eyes, and pink lips.
A man and a pregnant woman facing each other in the foreground, with a wintery river valley blurred in the background.
A man with a beanie and blue winter coat standing beside his wife, with his hand on her pregnant belly.
A pregnant woman standing sideways facing her husband with her gloved hand on his cheek. He is facing her, wearing a toque, and has his hand on her pregnant belly. They are standing in front of a snow-covered spruce tree.
A pregnant woman with a huge smile on her face throwing snow up in the air, creating a glittery effect on the portrait.
A close up of a pregnant woman's 8-month belly with her hands in mitts resting on top and beneath it.

This shot is from the following weekend. We went out to take some more photos, but the sun was not cooperating. Most of them turned out pretty gloomy! Though, Joey did snap some really cute photos of my sister, my mom, and myself!

A husband wearing a baseball cap standing facing his wife, who is wearing a burgundy flowy shirt over her 8-month pregnant belly.
