Following the high of my amazing bucket list birthday party for my 32 x 33 list, I was eager to get my list started for this next year. 

Writing my list this year was such an interesting experience. It felt so nice to try and remember what I would have put on these lists before I was a mom. Don’t get me wrong, I love my newfound identity as a mom, but the old Bex seems to have fallen by the wayside. This list felt like rediscovering who I am again!

One of the easiest ways to populate my list I’ve found is to break it into categories while I’m drafting my items. This year’s categories include: 

  • Business
  • Family
  • Financial
  • Fun
  • House
  • Personal Growth
  • Physical/Mental Wellbeing
  • Relational
  • Travel/Adventure
  • Twins

With my newfound hack to make sure I get my blogging in, I’m hoping to document our progress all year and continue our streak of completing our list! If you’re interested, take a look at all of my previous bucket lists. This is our ninth year making a list! That’s wild!

So let’s get right into it - here’s 33 things I hope to accomplish before I turn 34!

  1. Plan and host the twins’ 1st birthday
  2. Journal through hard emotions
  3. Work through the new version of PTYA 
  4. Cancel unnecessary subscriptions
  5. Complete our first year of Chatbooks
  6. Create Client Portal
  7. Get monetized
  8. Have a date night once a month (no kids!)
  9. Heal my diastasis recti
  10. Incorporate exercise into our daily routine to model a healthy lifestyle for the twins
  11. Launch Bates & Boo website
  12. Launch TD project
  13. Make a plan for kids’ RESPs
  14. Post 100 blog posts (~2 a week)
  15. Spend intentional time with my mom and sister at least once every two weeks
  16. Cheer Bugs on at his football game
  17. Publish 12 YouTube videos
  18. Design main floor renovation
  19. Explore 3 new activities around Edmonton with the babies
  20. Play a new board game
  21. Publish Bexlyn website
  22. Review personal expenses monthly
  23. Start running again with sister
  24. Take the twins to the mountains
  25. Try a new craft
  26. Try something new with my partner
  27. Read 12 books
  28. Clean out the closet in the office
  29. Sort through clothes and get rid of things I don’t wear
  30. Try three new foods
  31. Write 12 love letters
  32. Make a cleaning schedule
  33. Plant some flowers
